Poster sub-titled - 'You've got to have a sense of humour post-Biennale depression Benefit Dance'- a response to unsuccessful negotiations between the Artworkers Union and biennale director, Bill Wright - for better representation of Australian artists, and, in particularly representation of women artists in the biennale exhibition - The Biennale board was slow to respond and further discussions were necessary. The image in the poster, is based on a C19th photograph of a doctor experimenting a patient's reaction to electric shock impulses to the face. Bill Wrights head was superimposed for the doctor.
