Note on the edition: 'Gruner's editions are not always clear. in his ledger it is clear that when he first pulled the print, it was done in an edition of 25. But I know that he made a 26th print for his faithful collector, Miss EJ Read which has subsequently been sold at Christie's etc. This print might initially have been one he printed for a friend or collector.'
