Subject description
Lithographic profile portrait of John Plunkett (1802-1869), Attorney-General of New South Wales (1836-1866) and politician. He prosecuted the colonists who murdered 28 Aboriginals in the Myall Creek Massacre of 1838. Seven colonists were convicted and hanged.
