Production notes
This image - a poster from 'The Argus' newspaper - was on a lithographic stone now in the possession of the Australian Print Workshop. Before regraining the stone and putting it into general use, the Workshop pulled a small edition of prints from it. The image as printed may not be identical to the original image as the stone had been left uncovered and unprotected for many years. The image was slightly raised however, and we were able to rub it with a lithographic crayon and make a grease base from which to print. [Australian Print Workshop note]
