MR GILFILLAN, Portrait and landscape Painter,
begs respectfully to announce to parents and guardians
of young ladies and gentlemen who may be desirous of acquiring
the elegant and useful accomplishment of Drawing,
that he proposes forming classes for tuition in the principles
and practice of perspective, of pencil drawing, and of
painting in oil and water colours in all their branches.
Mr Gilfillan, for the last fifteen years up to the time of
his departure for the colonies, was Professor of the Fine Arts
in the Andersonian University of Glasgow.
Terms, &c., may be known by applying to Mr G., at his
Studio, Waterhouse's Buildings, King William-street.
