Abstract

Catalogue celebrating 30 years of the Shell Fremantle Print Award. Catalogue essays trace the history of the exhibition and the work of the ten featured artists in the 2005 exhibition. All past winners are illustrated.

"This book commemorates both that milestone and impact of the Shell Fremantle Print Award on the print medium in Australia. It is a companion to the publication From Silkscreen to Computer Screen - 20 years of the Fremantle Print Award which was produced as part of a national tour of award winning prints covering the years 1975-1995" [text, page 2].

An exhibition by ten Australian artists: Pat Brassington, Susanna Castleden, Lesley Duxbury, Neil Emmerson, Heather Hesterman, Milan Milojevic, Dennis Nona, Jonathan Tse, Paul Uhlmann, Judy Watson. The catalogue has profiles on each artist.

The catalogue lists the judges for each year (1976-2004) and works acquired. These works are documented and illustrated.
