Abstract

In 1984, a collection of over 300 glass platen egatives produced by the travelling 19th century photographer, william Boag, were discovered amongst material in the photographic studio of the Haig Brothers, in the town of Warwick, Queensland. This collection constituted a record of many of the people, places and principal settlements established in south-east Queensland in the early 1870s. [publishers blurb].
