Abstract

The Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart are eager to encourage the production of art and craft, as well as literature and music of the highest standard, to honour and promote the work of Mary MacKillop. In 1992, they commissioned the well-known Sydney artist Pamela Griffith to create a toile fabric depicting important scenes from Mother Mary's life. [extract from text]
