Stock-in-Trade, &c., of a Manufacturing Stationer.
TO STATIONERS, LITHOGRAPHERS, COPPER PLATE PRINTERS, AND OTHERS.
JOHN G. COHEN has received instructions from Messrs. Quarrill and Co. to sell by auction, on the premises, Viles' Buildings, Kent-street, on THURSDAY next, June 10, at 11 o'clock precisely,
Their Stock-in-Trade, comprising some of the finest presses ever brought into the colony, for copperplate and lithographic printing, embossing, enchasing, envelope-cutting, stamping, &c.
Together with a large quantity of engraved steel and copper plates, among which there are a number of well executed views of each of the Australian colonies, engraved by English artists, after drawings by Prout.
Also,
A large variety of steel engraved views in Great Britain and Ireland.
The original copperplates of the well-known sporting subjects, Going to Cover, and Belle of the Hunt.
A large assortment of other engraved plates, all of which are in first-rate order, and pay well for working.
With the above, 50 reams paper, books, working tools, and a variety of other articles.
Presses, &c, on view two days prior to the day of sale. The trade and others are particularly invited to inspect the above, being all of the newest invention, and are unequalled in the colony.
Catalogues are in preparation, and can be had at the rooms of the auctioneer, and on their premises.
