1912 - Born Sydney N.S.W.
1934 Diploma, Drawing and Illustration, East Sydney Technical College
1936-71 Tracer, then survey draftsman in N.S.W. and Local Government Offices
1945-52 Studies music - Piano with Elizabeth Coleman at Conservatorium of Music N.S.W.
1949 Taught Arts and Craft at Occupational Training Centre Sydney.
1950-51 Travelled to England. Studied Textile Design at Central School of Arts and Crafts London
1967-68 Took up painting again at Workshop Arts Centre (WAC) Willoughby with Tom Green, then James Barker
1969 Commenced Printmaking (screenprinting) at WAC with Finn Thorvaldson, George Baker and Bela Ivanvi. Etching with Elizabeth Rooney. Working also with linocut
1971 Member of Sydney Printmakers annual Exhibitions to 1985. Now an Associate Member.
1971 Member of Nine Printmakers annual exhibition to 1985
1972 Joined Print Council of Australia. Resigned 1985
1973 Member Print Circle annual exhibitions to 1985. Resigned 1986
1976-80 Taught screenprinting at Workshop Arts Centre.
1982 Study tour to England, Scotland and Europe
1983 Started working in pastels
1985 Study tour of Japan
