‘…that 53 lithographs of Bull's oil painting of Hobart Town, which was shown at the Paris Exhibition, having been supplemented with statistical details of the colony - its climate, history, population, trade, revenue, educational institutions, rates of wages, land regulations, &c. &c, and neatly enclosed in frames of muskwood and Huon pine, and carefully packed and addressed, have been likewise forwarded by the Harrowby to Messrs. Orgee and Meryon, London, to be by them despatched to mechanics' institutes, reading-rooms, and libraries, and to the chief passenger-offices of the great railway stations in London, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, &c. &c. &c., in order to be there suspended to engage the attention of, and afford information respecting Tasmania, to persons disposed to emigrate from the United Kingdom.
