Full text
The two beautiful views in this island, taken by Mr. Glover, were exhibiting at the Society's [Royal Society of British Artists] room's, Suffolk-street [England], and were much admired. The one was a view of New-town, and the other a scene on the South-esk. The frames made of our native timber, added to the interest of pictures drawn by so eminent an artist at so remote a distance.
