Another old colonist, Mr H. G De Gruchy passed away yesterday, at his residence, at Prahran. He had suffered from ill-health for a considerable time. He arrived in the colony in August, 1849, and was one of the first engravers and printers in this city, where he carried on business for many years. As a Freemason, he will be much missed, having attained by his long connexion with that body, some eminence in the craft. During his career he was connected with several societies and institutions of a public character. He leaves a widow and six children.
