WE have received from the editor of Sydney Punch, a coloured lithographic portrait of the Governor, published as a supplement to our local Charivari. It is in the style of the Vanity Fair series and possesses great merit as a work of art. But the accessories are open to criticism. The artist might have found for his Excellency more worthy associates than a jockey and a rough looking specimen of humanity resembling the " heavy villain " in a melodrama. The lithograph is from the press of Messrs. Gibbs, Shallard, and Co.
