ANOTHER PICTURE OF THE ADMELLA. - We have been shown, at the rooms of Mr. Hall, the photographist, in Hindley-street, a large painting of the wreck of the Admella by Mr. Thomas Clark, formerly of Adelaide, but now of Melbourne, winch ia perhaps one of the beat representations of the subject yet attempted. The painting is well worthy of inspection, and contains many points of excellence, and, we are informed, is for sale. It cannot argue much for the progress of the fine arts in Victoria when artists there find it necessary to send such good pictures over here to be disposed of. Amongst the works of mechanical art which Mr. Hall has brought from Melbourne are a number of lithographed copies of a very excellent photographic portrait of the Hon. J. H. Fisher taken by him, which are both remarkably lifelike and pleasing.
