SMITH and GARDINER, Wholesale and Retail Stationers, Paper Makers’ Agents’ and Account Book Manufacturers, have the pleasure to inform their friends and the public that they have commenced
ENGRAVING ON STEEL AND COPPER,
in the first style for bank notes and cheques, bills of lading anf exchange, receipts for rent, visiting and invitation cards and notes, business cards and invoice heads; they have also formed a
LITHOGRAPHIC ESTABLISHMENT,
in which no exertions have been spared, which should make it complete, not only for the production of works of the first class, bit for the accomplishment of extensive orders in the shortest space of time.
CHROMO-LITHOGRAPHY.
In this department, S. and G. are in a position to execute works of the highest order. Printing in colour is admirably adapted for show cards, labels, &c., &c. Specimens are to be seen on application.
LETTER PRESS PRINTING.
For bookwork, pamphlets, circulars, posting bills, direction cards, &c., &c., S and G. offer the advantages of an extensive and varied assortment of type and machinery of the most approved construction, wherever it can be applied advantageously. Possessing also the advantages of connection with some of the best paper makers in the United Kingdom, they are in a position to execute orders for this and every description of printing at the lowest remunerative prices, combined with due regards to quality.
