R. READ, jun. Miniature, Portrait, and Landscape Painter, No. 39, Pitt-street, Sydney, takes the opportunity of acquainting the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Colony, that he has for Sale an elegant collection of Drawings, consisting of Natives, Views, Flowers, &c. &c. of New South Wales, finished in a very superior manner, and considerably cheaper than any that are now selling in the Colony.
Drawing and Painting taught in all its various branches; Schools and Families attended; Miniatures and Portraits copied; old Paintings cleaned, varnished and restored to their original beauty.
R.R. also begs to acquaint those Ladies and Gentlemen who wish to be instructed in the elegant Art of Drawing, that he can supply them with camels’-hair and lead pencils, drawing books, boxes of colours, &c., &c., all of the very best quality.
N.B.- Drawings, Prints, &c. neatly framed and glazed.
