THE ART OF TRANSFERING.
THE above elegant art by which lithographic and other prints are transferred from paper to wood for ornamenting various articles of domes [sic, homes] to use, as fire-screens, card racks, snuff, glove, or ladies’ work-boxes, &c., according to the taste or pleasure of the artist, and though a very simple and easy process, hitherto kept secret by the inventor, is taught by the undersigned in only one lesson at the small expense of Half a guinea, at the residence of such ladies or gentlemen as may be desirous of acquiring the art. Specimens may be seen at the Reading rooms, Collins-street, or at the residence of Mr. Peck, at Mr. Collie’s, next door to the White Horse Inn, Liverpool st.
Wood carving in all its various branches executed in the first style.
