COLONIAL ART.—We have had the pleasure of inspecting the designs for the first of a series of comic etchings illustrating the English and colonial adventures of three persons of the “gent” school. They are from the pencil of Mr. S. T. Gill, the well-known colonial artist, and when lithographed will be offered to the public. The pictures appear to us to possess much merit, and we have no doubt that his project will be beneficial to him in a pecuniary point of view.
