We recently copied from the Hobart Town Mercury a notice of some chromo-lithogrpahs which had been executed by Mr. Piguenit, of that city. Since then we have had an opportunity of inspecting the engravings themselves, and can confirm the favourable opinion pronounced upon them by our Tasmanian contemporary. Mr Piguenit has been particularly happy in his treatment of the sky, and considering that these are the first chromo-lithographs ever(y) produced in Tasmania and that their execution must have been surrounded with many difficulties, Mr. Piguenit is to be congratulated on his success.
