FINE ARTS. - We have had the pleasure of viewing one of the most spirited productions which has ever emanated from a colonial pencil – a coloured lithographic view of Sydney by Mr. G.F. Angas. The difficulties which operate against the success of the lithographic art in this colony, from the climate and mechanical deficiencies, induced the enterprising publishers, Messrs. Woolcott and Clarke, to have recourse to the talent which abounds in the world's metropolis; and we may safely aver that a happier or more truthful picture of the capital of the southern hemisphere has not, nor can be, presented to the notice of the Australian public. As most of the copies have been bespoken, we recommend the admirers of pictorial genius at once to secure one, before the few remaining on hand are disposed of.
