Full text
We have hitherto forgotten to notice a very well executed series of lithographic portraits, by Mr. Rodius, of several aboriginal chiefs and their wives. The fidelity of the likenesses will at once strike the beholder who has been any length of time in a colony. Mr. Rodius will only dispose of them in sets (each six in number) and at his own residence: the price, one guinea, we think very moderate, when we consider the pains which the talented artist must have bestowed upon his work. Sets of these drawings would prove very acceptable presents to friends in England.
