Messrs Fergusson and Mitchell, the printers and engravers, have executed to the order of the Sandhurst Rolling Stock Company a series of lithographs illustrating Victorian scenery. These pictures are to be placed in the new railway carriages now in course of manufacture, as it is the desire of the Railway Commissioners to give the travelling public a fuller acquaintance than they at present possess with the numerous picturesque spots in the colony accessible by railway. The idea is a good one, and Messrs Fergusson and Mitchell have carried it out in excellent style. Some of these pictures are already to be seen in the new carriages on the St. Kilda line.
