Full text

NEW MUSIC. - Mr. Weinritter, the composer of the "Kangaroo Hunt Polka," has just published a new schottische, called the “Picnic Point Schottische.” The air is spirited, and the time well marked, and as these are two important essentials of dance music, we have no doubt that it will soon become as popular as its predecessor. It is neatly lithographed by Mr. Cyrus Mason, and is embellished with a view of the favourite spot whence it taken its name. Mr. Weinritter contemplates following it up with a set of waltzes.
