Norman Lindsay’s Art. Three etchings rejected.

Adelaide, Monday, -The hanging and selection committee of the South Australian Society of Arts has rejected three etchings – ‘The Funeral March of Don Juan,’ ‘The Apex of Life,’ and ‘The Festival’ – by Norman Lindsay for the exhibition arranged for artists’ week. The president (Mr. John White) stated that the etchings had been rejected only on account of subject matter. The committee recognised the excellence of Mr. Lindsay’s work, the high standard of his technique, and his remarkable talent.
