[Little Lord Fauntleroy, souvenir programme]

The “Little Lord Fauntleroy” galop is a rather taking composition, intended as a souvenir of the fiftieth performance of Mrs. Frances Hodgson Burnett's charming play of that name at the Princess Theatre, Melbourne, and of the first visit to the theatre of the Earl and Countess of Hopetoun on that occasion. It is written by Mr. George Wotherspoon, the representative of the authoress of the story. On the cover there are excellent lithographed portraits of the composer and of Olive Berkley and Gracie Hopkins, the children whose choice acting has done much to make the play successful, and also of Mr. H. Edwards, the company's stage manager.
