[The Week, new Brisbane nespaper with lithographic illustrations]

We have received the first number of the new weekly newspaper published in Brisbane by the proprietors of The Telegraph. The Week, as the new paper is called, makes its appearance in a handy shape, and contains a plentiful and varied supply of news and articles; and, in addition, a considerable amount of original matter for general readers, tho whole, with the advertisements, extending over 24 pages. With the present issue is given a lithographed portrait of His Excellency the Governor, from the same pencil which has become familiar in "Men You Know;" and, altogether, The Week is a very creditable addition to the newspaper Press of Queensland.
