Abstract
Pre-publication review of two lithographs for The Australian Sketchbook by S.T. Gill.
Full text
We have been shown two of a series of twenty-four chromo-lithographic sketches, illustrative of Australian life, drawn by Mr S.T. Gill, and printed by Messrs. Hamel and Ferguson. The one is “Kangaroo Stalking,” the other "Stock-driving." Both are highly characteristic, and both are executed so skilfully as closely to resemble watercolour drawings. The work, when complete, will be called "The Australian Sketch Book."
