[Dr. Leichhardts Overland Expedition to Port Essington]

DR. LEICHHARDT - We beg to acknowledge the receipt of a copy of Dr. Leichhardts Overland Expedition to Port Essington, published, in the form of a neat pamphlet, by Messrs. Statham and Forster, of the Australian, Sydney. It is accompanied by a t well executed lithographic map of the country through which the traveller passed, with his discoveries delineated; and as the whole has been published with his corrections, it must be indispensable to those desirous of acquiring a thorough knowledge of the subject.
