Sydney Ball

Born in Adelaide in 1933, Sydney Ball studied etching and lithography at the South Australian School of Art, 1962-63. In New York from 1963 to 1965, he studied lithogaphy and silkscreen printing at the Art Students League and participated in the lithography summer course at the Pratt Centre in 1964. Since that year he has concentrated on screenprinting. His prints are closely linked with his paintings, which are his principal concern.
