Guy Grey-Smith
Born in Wagin, Western Australia in 1916, Guy Grey-Smith moved to England in 1937 where he was with the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. After the War, he studied painting and carving at Chelsea Polytechnic from 1945 to 1947, returning to Perth, Western Australia the following year. From 1952 to 1954 he studied fresco at Central School, London and pottery with Heber Matthews.
While chiefly a painter and potter, Grey-Smith also made screenprints. He died in 1981.
