John Pule

John Pule was born in Liku, Niue in 1962 and has lived in Aotearoa New Zealand since 1964. A painter, printmaker and performance artist, he is also an accomplished writer. In recent years he has taken an increasing interest in the history, mythology and make up of Niue. His paintings and prints take the form and use the colour range of Nuiean tapa cloth.
