Theo Tremblay

Theo Tremblay was born in the USA in 1952 and arrived in Australia in 1977. He first became involved in printmaking with both urban and northern Australian Aboriginal artists in 1983 whilst working with the Printmaking Workshop at the Canberra School of Art. He moved from the Canberra School of Art to learn more about Aboriginal art and art education and has returned there repeatedly since 1983. Tremblay also has had a long association as specialist lithographer with Studio One National Print Workshop. He has taught at the Northern Territory University and Tropical North Queensland Institute of TAFE, Cairns. Tremblay currently lives in Bungendore, NSW.
