>Brian Robinson

Brian Robinson was born on Waiben (Thursday Island) in 1974, later moving to the mainland to study. He completed his Associate Diploma of Visual Arts (ATSI) at the Tropical North Queensland Institute of TAFE, Cairns, as well as numerous certificates and went on to gain an Advanced Certificate in Visual Arts (ATSI). As well as pursuing his career as a printmaker, painter and sculptor, he is active as a writer and curator. He is presently Curator of Indigenous Art at the Cairns Regional Gallery.
