Brenda Croft, has been appointed the new Senior Curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art at the National Gallery of Australia. A member of the Northern Territory's Gurindji Nation, and a founding member of Boomali Aboriginal Artists Co-operative, Brenda is a distinguished artist, lecturer, writer and arts administrator. Presently the Curator of Indigenous Art at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, she will take up her appointment at the beginning of February 2002.
