Edith Wall

Born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1905, Edith Wall studied in New Zealand, Rome, and London where she worked in commercial and advertising art. In 1938 she moved to Australia where she did cartooning both in Melbourne and in Sydney. In about 1956, Wall took up lithography in Melbourne but subsequently turned to painting and watercolour. Wall later lived and worked in London.
