Fatu Feu'u

Fatu Feu'u was born at Poutasi, Falealili, West Samoa in 1946 and raised in a small village where he was exposed to a variety of traditional art forms. In 1966 he moved to Aotearoa New Zealand. His work is an expression of pride in his Samoan culture and features the motifs and symbols of traditional Samoan and Pacific art in a variety of mediums. He has played a crucial role in helping form funds and groups to support and educate other Polynesian artists.
