Mother and son.

This is Thea Proctor’s earliest known lithographic work. She did not exhibit it in England but a print which she sent to Australia was reproduced in Art in Australia. It was well received.

“... I thought that the prints of Mother and Son might sell — as Mr Hardy Wilson said a print which I sent to Sydney was much admired — and advised me to send out as many as I could…”
