A fiction?

A screenprint commission which allows a poster treatment with its four colours limit and edition of 80 prints. The print is based on a painting that I have made of an historic headstone in the Ross cemetery. The work attempts to draw out the notion of colonization from an action of the past to a continuing condition especially with regard to the southern frests of Tasmania. Log trucks pass my studio on an endless round of deliveries to the chip mill at Triabunna.
