Helen Boyd

Born in Sydney 1931, Hermia Sappo Lloyd-Jones studied sculpture under Lyndon Dadswell at East Sydney Technical School between 1945 and 1947. Married to David Boyd, she is well known for her ceramics, glass and drawings which she has exhibited in London and Australia. In 1952, whilst in France, she studied wood-engraving with Edward Gordon Craig. Early in 1970 she settled with her husband in the south of France where she studied etching with Sathish Sharma.
