Notes
Kongo is an alternative music venue were people can D.J. with their own experimental creations. It is a social event for the Darwin Pseudo underground. Everyone in a while we would surprise the owners by plastering the windows of the nightclub with our posters still drying at 11:30 pm which is about the time when the place really starts to 'rock'. We started telling people that they could 'rip off' a red hand poster on their way out. At first, people felt strange about it but they soon got over it, stealing all the posters. Now everyone collects them locally and somebody in Sydney (ex pat) is reputed to have every Kongo poster produced to date. This has caused other repercussions however as now people pull red hand posters off the walls to collect before the events or issues are over.
