Production notes
Artists comment: Jar and bowl is one of a number of prints made in recent years using drypoint. It was worked onto a perspex plate using a variety of tools such as scribers and broken razor blades. I am attracted to this form of printmaking because of its directness and simplicity as opposed to prints that rely entirely on elaborate techniques. The edition of six prints plus two artist's proofs was printed on Velin Arches blanc 200 gsm paper using Lefranc ink. [Art & Australia, vol. 21 no. 4, p. 460, winter 1984, p.460.]
