Subject description

The series of five prints which I made to accompany 'L'Albatros' by Charles Baudelaire are in many ways a summary of the techniques and imagery that I have used in my screenprints over the past thirteen years. These prints pay homage t0 the ideas and feelings expressed in the poem and follow it fairly literally. The size of my images was reduced in the instance and colour was used more intuitively. I feel that these prints are the most successful I have made to this point.
