Production notes

The artist has blocked out most of the image with a sheet of paper before printing. Only the bottom two centimetres has a printed image and even this has a small section blocked out so the inscription could be inserted. The sheet was then folded into an envelope so the image appeared on the top of the back with the inscription being the address of the sender.

Inscriptions or device by artist or designated agent

Not signed. Not dated. Inscribed lower left within image in black brush and ink, ''Stronsa' / Bay Rd'. Inscribed verso centre in black ink pen, 'To Miss Ruth Hollic and Miss D Izard / Chartres House / 163 Collins St / Melbourne / C.I'.
