View of Lydiard Street, Ballarat West in 1859, showing substantial two story stone buildings including Dent's Hotel, the Bank of New South Wales, and Mitchell & Bonheah Hardware store.The street has lighting, footpaths and street gutters. A number of horses and carts are in the street.
