Subject description
The lithograph depicts the Astrolabe being restocked with water at King George Sound, Western Australia. Aboriginal Australians and the crew of the boat are carrying water in buckets. Thie water is being poured into a funel which is connected to a hose, which is fed into a water-barrel on the rowboat which is anchored a little offshore
