Production notes

Nimrod commissioned eight posters from Martin Sharp each with a typical print run of 100. Seven were issued to promote productions staged at the theatre. “They also commissioned a poster to commemorate their 10th birthday, 'Nimrod 10', which features Ginger Meggs in an Al Jolson pose. Nimrod re-issued all eight posters Martin did for the theatre as a set in 1982, edition of 1000. Both editions were printed by McGregor's. In the second edition the printmakers prepared new stencils and printed the works on higher quality paper than the original print run." [information from Ric Davidson, Nimrod staff 1982-84. 8 September 2009.]
