Production notes
This lithograph is closely related to the painting 'The fruit market, Nice' c1923, offered in 'Fine Australian paintings', Sydney: Trevor Bussell, 1987, number 44. The composition has been slightly cropped at the bottom to the more rectangular image. Carrick has not reversed the image when drawing it onto the lithographic stone, so the printed image is in reverse of the painting. [RB 1987].
