One of a set of five lithographs commissioned by the National Gallery Society of Victoria. The artists were Albert Tucker, Leonard Hessing, Leonard French, John Olsen and Fred Williams. All were printed by Janet Dawson at Gallery A Print Workshop, Melbourne. All editions (except the Hessings) were printed in two runs. The first of thirty was printed in 1963; the second 20 in 1964. The Hessing print was executed and printed in 1964.
