Tasmanian printmaker Mandy Renard's exhibition Dance Me to the End of Love, is a paean to the late Leonard Cohen and the Indomitable human spirit. Renard's strong yet feminine dry point etchings often relate to disconnectedness and gratitude. In the past her works have not only merged the figure with landscape but repeatedly reach into the well of history and pull out Jewels to place in the present day. In this exhibition Mandy is not traveling so far into the past as she explores love as a riposte against despair and the innate sensuality and musicality of love as it dances through the body and from one body to another.
